Dr. Katie grew up in Mississauga, Ontario, where her introduction to sports and healthy living first began. She spent many of her childhood years in competitive gymnastics and dance - including jazz, tap, acrobatics and ballet.
Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College
Bachelor of Kinesiology (BKin) degree with Honours from Wilfrid Laurier University
Certifications in Active Release Techniques (ART), Contemporary Medical Acupuncture (McMaster University), Shift Concussion Management, Shockwave Therapy, and the Fascial Distortion Model.

I have been friends with Dr. Katie for several years so when I hurt my back, I definitely felt comfortable going to see her. As a dancer, I’ve always been fairly body aware, but when I hurt my back I didn’t know what to do. Since I’ve known Dr. Katie as both a friend and fellow dancer, I knew I had to see her. She did contemporary medical acupuncture and adjustments of my lower back and also gave me some exercises to do at home. In a short amount of time I was not only able to return to dancing, but choreographing and teaching dance as well.
